St. Louis Dentistry is an award-winning publication of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.
St. Louis Dentistry is a quarterly magazine published in Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall with circulation of over 1,200
subscribers that includes dentists, laboratories and dental schools in and around St. Louis.

About Our Editor
As the editor of St. Louis Dentistry, Dr. Shahnaz Ahmed, hopes to bring a fresh perspective to dentistry in St. Louis and more!
Dr. Shahnaz B. Ahmed graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD) in 1999. After graduation she
completed a one year General Practice Residency at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis. In the year 2000, she joined a two
year hospital and school based residency program in Pediatric Dentistry, at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital in Indianapolis
graduating in 2002.She continued to stay in Indianapolis for a year, working for Marion County Health Department providing
pediatric dental care to the underserved children.
In 2003, Dr. Ahmed moved back "home" to St. Louis. She worked at a local
pediatric dental clinic before she decided to take on the venture of opening her own practice. Dr. Ahmed is a member of the
American Dental Association and its component/constituant societies (the Missouri Dental Association and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society).
