Staff provide referrals should a specialist be needed to meet a patient's specific oral health needs. Thorough exams and x-rays are conducted at each initial visit. Oral health is part of a dynamic health continuum and having healthy teeth and gums is an essential component of good health.
New Dental Patient Appointments A person wishing to become a dental patient MUST call the health center to get their name on a waiting list. Please call the Carondelet center (314) 678-2971 or the Forest Park Southeast center (314) 371-0336. As appointments become available, people on the waiting list are called in the order that their name appears on the waiting list to schedule an appointment.
Most private insurance plans accepted. Patients without insurance are served on a sliding fee based upon income and family size. All dental patients MUST be a current ACTIVE patient of the physicians at Family Care Health Centers.

Patients needing specialized services such as orthodontics, complicated oral surgery, limited endodontics or fixed prosthetics are referred to specialists.
Insurance Accepted: Medicaid:Health Care USA, Molina, Harmony MC+, and Fee-for-Service Medicaid. These plans are accepted for all GHNHC Services, such as Medical, Dental, CDC, and Pharmacy.
Medicare: Fee-for-Service Medicare accepted for all GHNHC services. GHP Advantra – accepted for Medical and Pharmacy Services Only.
Medicare Part D plans accepted for Pharmacy: WellCare; Caremark; First Health Premier Rx; GHP Advantra Rx
Some commercial plans are accepted: Essex (for dental only), BlueCross/BlueShield MO (Alliance/Alliance Choice plans only), and other plans.
